Amanda and Matt had an elegant, black-tie October wedding at the Peconic Bay Yacht Club in New York. They wanted to focus on classic, neutral tones of white and champagne, which were clearly shown throughout their wedding celebration, which was designed down to the very last detail.

The venue itself was absolutely stunning. As wedding photographers, we focus on capturing beautiful and candid photos for our clients, and it wasn’t hard with the breathtaking waterfront setting, perfect for Amanda and Matt’s elegant black-tie wedding.
What we especially loved about their wedding was the attention to detail! From the decor to the florals, everything was so thoughtfully planned out. They chose a neutral color palette that felt timeless and elegant, brought to life with stunning arrangements by Flowers By Lauren Ashley. Their stationery and signage by Felicia Nicole Design tied it all together perfectly, creating beautiful pieces that set the tone for the entire day.
Amanda’s Elegant Bridal Look
Amanda chose to wear a stunning off-the-shoulder wedding gown from Day Dream Bridal and Jane Hill Bridal, featuring a draped sweetheart neckline, and a sleek silhouette with a thigh-high slit for a modern and elegant look. The gorgeous design creates a timeless and romantic touch. Her dress is complemented by her gorgeous white heels by Bella Belle Shoes, featuring delicate lace bows that tie the bridal look together.
The First Look
Amanda & Matt chose to do a first look and private vows before their official ceremony. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and we were so happy to document their raw emotions for when they first saw each other on this special day. Their smiles, tears, and laughs truly showed how special this moment was for them, and we are thrilled to give them a chance to look back on this moment for many years to come.
The Ceremony & Reception
Their ceremony was absolutely breathtaking. It was set outdoors at Peconic Bay Yacht Club with a stunning waterfront view and the most picturesque floral arch. All the guests were dressed to the nines in classic black-tie, adding even more elegance to an already unforgettable day. The reception was just as tasteful, filled with candlelight, lush florals, and the perfect blend of timeless and modern details.
One of my favorite touches was the live painting by Paint My Wedding Day, which documented the moment in such a unique way. The energy really picked up with incredible entertainment by Great Family Artists, and the after-party with GT Party Entertainment took things to the next level. We ended the night with the most delicious desserts from Campbell’s Bakery—beautifully crafted and even better tasting.
